Job Title: Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

My clients are an independently run business seeking a professional, caring and compassionate experienced Small Animal Vet, to work as part of their team.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the job - Consults, Medicine and Surgery.

Must be confident with sole charge.

CPD is provided as my clients believe in investing in their people, and infrastructure, to provide the best care.

There is the opportunity to complete a certificate for the right person!

15 minute consults.

The Job Role details:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at my clients fabulous veterinary practice for a full time veterinary surgeon (would consider a 4 day week).

Aim of the role:

My client is looking for an enthusiastic, confident, team player, cheerful and vet who is willing to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:

To be a full time veterinary surgeon.

Duties will include consulting, surgical procedures, minor procedures, client liaison, working up cases, caring for hospitalised animals, treatment plans and visits.

Four or Five day week

7 Saturday mornings in 12 - with time in lieu 0815 - 1800

No OOH

Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:

MUST be a qualified RCVS registered Vet.

MUST be an enthusiastic, confident, team player, cheerful and vet who is willing to get stuck in.

IDEALLY looking for at least 3-4yrs of UK experience or more, however a confident new graduate would be considered.

IDEALLY looking for an individual with surgical bias, which will be welcomed and supported.

IDEALLY would live within 60mins of the practice.

Additional Information:

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

Generous CPD allowance

Pension scheme

40hrs per week.

Salary package:

£29,000 - £75,000 depending upon experience
