The Company:
My exclusive client is a fantastic and well diversified, progressively growing agricultural farming business. They are looking for a highly experienced agricultural mechanic/ fabricator to work alongside other existing workshop staff in the wide array of farming tasks they have to offer, on and off site. The varied nature of this business means that this role will not be the same every day! My client is looking for a pro-active individual who works hard and loves a challenge.
The Industry: Agriculture, Farming, Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Electrics.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the repairs, servicing and maintenance of plant and machinery involved within the agricultural, construction and ground care sectors.
Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site biomass boilers.
Responsible for the service and maintenance of on-site continuous grain drying and handling system.
Fabrication of parts/components as necessary.
Responsible for carrying out the associated paperwork involved in maintaining safe working fleet.
Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:
The most suitable candidate/s will: possess;
At least 5 years recent agricultural mechanic experience.
Be a fantastic problem solver.
Have fabrication experience.
Good communication skills.
Good automotive electrical experience.
Experience with Agricultural Machinery including; JCB, Challenger and John Deere equipment.
Can do attitude and hard working individual.
Salary package:
Salary: up to £15.25 per hour
Hours: 45+ per week.
Accommodation available (2 Bedrooms).
