Fertiliser Sales Manager - East Midlands and East UK

The Company:
An agricultural fertiliser supplier.

The Job Role:
A fantastic opportunity is available for a highly motivated sales professional with excellent commercial experience, a passion for crop nutrition, combined with the drive and enthusiasm to perform and succeed.

Location: Home based covering the East Midlands / East UK area

Salary Package:
£40,000 - £70,000 + Company Car + Quarterly Bonus Scheme + Excellent Employer Pension Contribution + Private Health

Key Responsibilities:
Managing own portfolio of farm accounts
Formulate and monitor sales plans covering the full product portfolio
Providing a full crop nutrition service within the territory
Accurate order book management
Providing agronomic advice and support to key stakeholders within the region
Support Customer Services and Transport in providing high quality service to the customer
Support Finance with credit limits and debt management
Coordinate the marketing plan within the territory and represent the company at events, farmer meetings, field days and shows
Updating wider commercial teams on market intelligence

Candidate Skills and Requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent (not essential) or relevant Agricultural experience
FACTS qualification is essential (training can be provided for the right candidate)
BASIS advantageous but not essential
Demonstrate success in Sales and Technical advice
Develop a close relationship with Farmers and Agronomists
Have a good awareness of legislation affecting agriculture
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Display sound financial understanding
Be self-motivated, results driven and have a hunger to succeed
Be able to plan and manage own time proactively and efficiently
Commercial experience
Be proficient with Microsoft Office
Hold a valid UK driving license.
