Marketing Manager - Hybrid role

The Job:
An exciting position is available for a Marketing Manager to join a growing team.

Location: Hybrid role with travel to office a few times a week. Office is based in Northeast Wales.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic + Pension + Life Insurance

Job Responsibilities:
Website ManagementIncluding:
Overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the company's websites, ensuring they are up to date, visually appealing, and user-friendly.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to update web content, including product information, promotions, news, and company updates.

Drive website optimisation and user experience, ensuring seamless navigation and effective conversion rate optimisation (CRO).

Monitor website analytics to track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as page views, bounce rate, and conversion rate.

Data Analysis Including:
Utilising web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and analyse website performance, social media metrics, and campaign effectiveness.

Generate reports and provide insights on marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of different initiatives and campaigns.

Identify trends and opportunities from data analysis to drive marketing strategies and decision-making.

Social Media Management Including:
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

Manage and maintain the company's social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) by creating and scheduling engaging content.

Manage paid social activity: efficiently creating, improving, and scaling ads as required.

Monitor social media conversations, respond to customer inquiries, and address any issues or complaints in a timely manner.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and suggest innovative campaign ideas.

Blog Writing Including:
Research and write engaging and informative blog posts on relevant topics related to our industry, sustainability, and food production.

Optimise blog posts for search engine optimisation (SEO) to increase organic traffic and visibility.

Collaborate with internal teams to source information, data, and insights for blog content development.

Agency Coordination Including:
Manage relationships with external agencies, such as web developers, PPC specialists, graphic designers, and content writers, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Coordinate with agencies for the creation of marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, and promotional campaigns.

Provide clear briefs and guidelines to agencies, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to company values.


Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience in website management, data analysis, social media management, and blog writing.

Proficient in using web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of HTML/CSS preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Familiarity with the food industry or sustainable agriculture would be advantageous.
