A specialist Agricultural Bank and Financial Services business is recruiting for a key member of their team. They require a highly experienced Senior Agricultural Relationship Manager to be based in Chester.

The Job Role details:

The role of Senior Relationship Manager is a very exciting opportunity!

A dynamic and confident person is required in this key role with a minimum of 5+ years prior agricultural lending knowledge and portfolio management experience in the financial services sector. An in-depth knowledge of agricultural and horticultural production systems is a must as is the ability to build superior relationships within the rural community.

To be successful in this role you will have had at least 3+ years prior successful experience in running agricultural banking teams on a regional or national level.

The Senior Relationship Manager role will be based in the banks office in Chester and is responsible for managing, motivating and mentoring a growing team of 3 direct reports initially.
Additionally, the SRM will lead and execute lending leads and referrals through our inbound sales channels.

The ability to coach superior credit and customer service skills to your direct reports whilst providing excellent customer service for your own leads is a key function of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven leadership within the Agricultural finance industry, expert relationship management and Agricultural credit skills.


Ideal Person Skills and Qualifications:

Essential

·         Superior communication skills

·         Expert relationship management skills

·         Expert Agricultural and Horticultural credit skills

·         Proven leadership of small to medium sized teams

·         Full UK or equivalent driver’s license

Desirable

·         On farm green energy finance experience

·         Board of directors / trustee governance experience


Additional Information:
IT Skills – Microsoft / Outlook etc.
Full Clean driver license

Salary package:

£40K – £50K Basic Salary DOE
