Service Advisor

Do you have an interest in providing advice and support within a dealership?
Location of the Job: Dorset.
Salary and Benefits Package:
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum (experience and growth department).
Holiday - 21 days + bank holidays.
Equipment and tools.
Company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and IT based applications.
At times the post-holder will be expected to perform duties outside of this job description in order to ensure the maintenance of a high-level service to our customers.
Auto-enrolment pension as standard.
Company sick pay after 12 months service.
Additional information:
Based at the depot, and visits customers and other depots, as required.
This is a permanent full-time position.
Opening hours 8am - 6pm weekdays, 8am - 1pm Saturdays.
Saturday working on rotation.

The Job Role Details:
We are looking for a personable service advisor to act as the liaison between customers and service technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
You will…
Ensure customer service by working with customers to determine their vehicle issues.
Work with technicians to convey to customers the repair timeline and repair descriptions.
Consult with technicians regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives.
Use your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
Answer questions about service outcomes and scheduling, and booking appointments.
Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections.
Call customers to advise them about service changes.
Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Ensure all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers, and processing their payments.
Liaise with service technicians about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of agricultural machinery.
Experience in the agricultural industry.
Strong organisational, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Good IT skills.
Full UK driving licence
