Service Engineers

Location of the Job:

Field service roles, based out of various depots in Scotland.

Salary & Benefits Package:

  • Paying a basic hourly pay rate of £12 - £17 depending on experience.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.

  • Basic working week is Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm.

  • Overtime available.

The Job Role Details:

We are now looking for Workshop Engineers and Mobile/Field Service Engineers to operate at either of the workshops in Glasgow, Inverness or Aberdeen. As the successful candidate you will join an existing productive team providing service support to the wide range of Grass Machinery and Groundcare Equipment supplied by the company, reporting directly to the Workshop Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

  • Work on the full range of equipment used in the groundcare and horticultural equipment industry.

  • This includes tractors, commercial mowers, golf course equipment, golf cars & light trucks along with handheld tools.

  • Offer excellent customer support and reporting skills.

  • Deal directly with customers.

  • Report to the depot Workshop Foreman.

  • Be based from the workshop to begin with, with a view to be van/field based.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

  • Good knowledge of hydraulics and electrics applied to Ground Care Machinery or related industry.

  • Experience and understanding of Diesel Engines.

  • Be self-motivated and ability to work under own initiative.

  • Team player - able to work well as part of a team.

  • A full UK driving licence.

Essential Skills:

  • Engineer experience working on groundcare equipment or similar machinery.

  • Local to the depots at Aberdeenshire, Inverness or Glasgow.
