Aftersales and Maintenance Network Representative

Location of the Job:

National - Home based with travel.

Salary and Benefits Package:

Starting basic salary of circa £45,000 per year.

Company vehicle.

Annual discretionary bonus

Company pension scheme.

20 days holiday plus additional 1 per year up to 25 days.

A leading engineering manufacturer specialising in vehicle systems, supplying durable transport solutions to the commercial trailer and vehicle industry.

The Job Role Details:

As the Aftersales and Maintenance Network Representative you will ensure that there is a reliable transparent network of aftermarket distributors and maintenance providers for vehicles and support this network so that they can source required parts competitively and uphold required maintenance regimes to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

  • Ensure fleet operators have a clear and transparent aftermarket and maintenance provider structure.

  • Act as a liaison between the company maintenance network and distributors to develop new value stream opportunities for both.

  • Promote and expand the coverage of approved trained technicians within the market.

  • Build strong relationships at all levels within fleet customers, workshops and parts distributors including, but not limited to service mechanics, workshop managers, fleet engineers, fleet managers, purchase agents and fleet owners.

  • Inform, advise, train and support company users about the product offerings.

  • Secure customer commitment in specifying our products and services.

  • Provide first class customer service.

  • Communicate customer perceptions and objectives within the company, to influence company strategies.

  • Monitor and report activities within the market relevant to the company's operations.

  • Attend trade evenings and trade shows.

  • Support workshops in the work processes and organisation to achieve required maintenance standards.

  • Support approved workshops in developing 3rd party local and national maintenance contracts.

  • Build and maintain a database of maintenance provider by key fleets, identifying category of provider (truck dealer, independent national network, local providers, mobile vendors) and key elements of the size of provider (technicians/ workshop bays), and a database of distributor providers by key fleets, fleet size.

  • Adhere to company health and safety policies.

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing material and events.

  • Identify partnering opportunities for complimentary third-party products.

  • The ability to operate and build relationships.

  • A background of working in a customer facing role within the commercial vehicle industry.

  • Experience working with fleet operators, commercial vehicle workshops and parts distributors.

  • A self-motivator who is keen to drive both their career and the business forward.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and generally IT savvy.

  • Overnight stays for work, may be required.
