The Company
A specialist land‑based education provider in the East of England. It has a long history dating back to 1893 and is recognised for its practical, hands‑on learning and industry‑relevant courses in agriculture, horticulture, animal and equine studies, and related land‑based subject courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The Role
Are you an experienced agriculture lecturer or agricultural professional ready to inspire the next generation?
Deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons across livestock, arable, and farm systems, using real working-farm environments to bring learning to life. Support students as they build practical, industry-ready skills and progress into agricultural careers.

Location: East of England
Salary: £35,000 basic (dependent on skills and experience)
What You'll Do:
- Join a highly regarded Land-Based team
- Deliver hands-on and classroom-based agriculture teaching to 16-18-year-old FE students
- Bring learning to life across a working estate and farm
- Teach across livestock, arable, and agricultural machinery, grounded in real-world UK agriculture
- Inspire and motivate young people while driving innovation within the curriculum
- Help build and strengthen industry links to keep provision relevant and future-focused
- Work closely with a supportive, experienced FE team
- Opportunity to take on course management responsibilities and shape the wider land-based off
What you need:
- Hold GCSE English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Have two A Levels or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Be passionate about supporting and developing a diverse range of learners
- Maintain up-to-date technical and industry knowledge, sharing best practice with students and colleagues
- Be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification, which will be required following appointment
