Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering (Further Education) – Gloucestershire - Competitive Salary (Up To £36K) – 12834 KM

This college are looking to recruit an outstanding Agricultural Engineer who is highly motivated, student focused and has strong interpersonal skills to join the Agriculture Department. The candidate will be expected to deliver both practical and theory sessions to Level 3 learners studying towards BTEC and IMI qualifications. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of agriculture, workshop based fabrication skills, machine maintenance and principles of operation, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding. You will be required to deliver and assess land-based units as well as being a course tutor for a group of students.
The successful candidate will hold or be required to work towards a teaching qualification. You will also be a strong team player, have excellent administration skills and demonstrate a willingness to engage with external partners and industry. Ideally you will possess an appropriate degree and be able to demonstrate a range of practical skills. Experience of delivering Engineering Units within the Further Education sector is desirable.
